Celebrating the Heritage of The New Patna Club

Established in 1919 by Justice F.R. Roe with assistance from Sir Ali Imam, Justice P.R. Das, and Mr. Saiyid Sultan Ahmed, The New Patna Club has a storied legacy that reflects the rich cultural and historical tapestry of Patna. Originally created to provide recreational opportunities for lawyers and judges who moved to Patna after the establishment of the Patna High Court in 1916, the club quickly became a social and cultural hub for the city's elite. Over the decades, it has evolved to embrace the vibrant diversity and dynamic spirit of modern Patna, while preserving its heritage and timeless charm.
